VOTE 2020

Primary Election Day has been Moved to

TUESDAY, JUNE 2nd

Act 77 brought new voting laws that will help simplify the process and make voting more accessible and more convenient. Here are the important changes taking effect in 2020.

Vote by mail Prior to the election

Voters will now have the ability to vote by mail before the election and to be included on a list to permanently receive a ballot application by mail. The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is Tuesday, May 26th.

Turn in your ballot right up to election day

Mail-in and Absentee ballots can be submitted up until 8:00 pm on election day, rather than Friday the week before election day. Absentee and mail-in ballots are returned directly to your County Elections Bureau. They will not be counted at the polling locations.
