We had an incredible turnout at our annual holiday party. It was so good to celebrate our successes this year with fellow Democrats, good friends, and family members from all around Pittsburgh. Thank you for making it a remarkable night.

I’ve been honored and privileged to represent the 43rd District as State Senator and together we’ve achieved so much for our region and our commonwealth.

We expanded Medicaid to cover more than 700,000 working people, raised the minimum wage, and are fighting climate change — all without having to sacrifice our region’s diverse sources of family-sustaining jobs.

And while we should all be proud of what we’ve accomplished, I know there’s still more we can do to build a future for all Pennsylvanians.

Together, I know we can:

  • Keep up the fight for expanded, affordable healthcare.
  • Level the economic playing field and allow working families to build a sustainable, middle-class life.
  • Preserve our environment and prepare for a truly sustainable future.
  • Protect our communities from the scourge of gun violence and ensure the safety of our most vulnerable neighbors.

Over the coming months, we’ll be telling you more about we’re building on all that we’ve already accomplished, and what I’m doing to make sure Harrisburg keeps making progress on the issues that affect all our families.

If you’re ready to join me, take a moment and let us know how you’d like to help.

Right now, we’re coordinating for the petition process and if you’d like to help us circulate petitions you can add your info here.

Thank you!
